Hats Off Amr Adeeb

I usually criticize Amr Adeeb a lot in this blog , he is the TV host I love to hate with all his bias to the regime even if he denies it and his vulgar style of presentation not to mention his rudeness still I must admit that I respect what Adeeb did in the last flooding crisis. 3almazika-e92f923fbe

Amr Adeeb managed to gathered through his TV show donations reaching to LE 50 million for the floods victims in North Sinai and Aswan , I repeat again LE 50 million through his show "Cairo Today".

I will still attack Adeeb when he goes back to his usual wacky show but I must be fair , this is an impressive effort that should be highlighted and respected if not to imitated in other shows in time of crises.

Bravo Amr Adeeb and thanks to all those who donated to the floods victims.

The only thing I hope that is these donations reach to those who really need it.

Speaking of Charity ,  I will remind you of My change the world page

  1. how do you know that he really collected this money? could it be just a campaign to clear his dirty image and advertise to all those companies and individuals who claim to have paid? when a dirty guy like adeeb says something then we should always be suspicious about his intentions and check first. he is like the regime that he defends..wouldn’t miss a chance to deceive people and beautify his ugly face at the expense of suffering peoples!

  3. @ the 2 nasty comments above: what have u angels done for those ppl? Amr Adeeb is no angel but just like you have ur own political preferences he can also has his own preferences and no one can deny how many times he spoke against the gov and exposed many problems in the society. If you mock someone look at urself first and see what makes u a better person than him/her.
Have u been watching the show before u right that nasty comment? did u see the cheques on the show yesterday and today? do you knw about the excellent reputation of someone like Dr. Mamdouh Hamza? Moez Al Shohdi? do you think they will be part of a scam? and what will you say when in a few months the houses are built? Will you eat up your words?
    SHAME

  4. First of all I totally reject the language you use and the way you are expressing yourself.I wonder how zeinobia allowed your comment to be published..!!!

Secondly, considering myself,I do not recall I said I am an angel, and I am not obliged to give you a full description of any charity deed I might have taken or planned to take.I just expressed my own opinion about a public figure whom I personally neither trust nor respect. Is he the suitable person to collect that money?? Maybe yes and he is trying to do something helpful indeed, maybe no since it does not get along with his personality. And if he is really collecting money for the vicitims still nobody can gurantee the money will be correctly located esp.that we have the National Cancer Institute as a great example...!!!I do not believe this deserves such an aggressive response as yours, unless you are Amr Adeeb himself..!!!

  5. From Anonymous 1 to Anonymous 2:
Why are you so angry? Dr. Mamdouh Hamza and Moez Al Shohdi: Never heard of them!! We'll see if there be any houses in a few months -- which I highly doubt.

  6. Well look at wt both of u wrote before u get angry about me getting back at you.

Anon1: If you never heard of Mamdouh Hamza and Food Bank's Moez el Shohdi, then Im not sure u know much about the society and its figures.Dr. Hamza is a well known anti-gov and Moez El Shodhi who is well-off has been on the Food Bank project even before it became so famous.

@آخر أيام الخريف: check the language of the first anon and ur own implicit accusations of how probably this is a scam before you reject any thing. I am certainly not Adeeb and I dnt love him that much but I dislike the likes of you and Anon 1 who just put down any thing good while they arent doing much. To make matters even worse, I am willing to et u commented w/o even following on the issue bec the very same day u posted ur comments he was showing cheques and copies of transfers on his show!
Just bec u think u knw the mans political loyalties or dislike him for wtever reasons that doesnt give u the right to throw accusations just like that especially when u have nothing better to show. "It doesnt get along with his personality"?!! how do u knw that? how do we the audience know the "real" personalities of those we watch on the screen? and what about the donations he collected before to Palestine and other issues in Egypt?! You are not God so, u dnt knw the intentions of others and of course u have some sense to know that even though we can form opinions about those we watch on our screens we certainly do not know them for real.

I dnt understand how is the NCI relevant here? and great example for what?

Finally, yes we will see how this will go in a few months but again I hope u are ready to eat ur words this is not bec Adeeb is involved its bec there are so many ppl behind this project so, I doubt they will just let things slip.

It is clear that you did not read what I had written carefully or at least you read it with already prepared answer in mind.I will comment on one sentence you said, that neither of us is GOD almighty.Yes, that is true, and cos we are not GOD we cannot gurantee that the money will be delivered to people who need it as much as we cannot tell if he is a fraud. It is the future that will show as you mentioned . About NCI ,forgive me if I ask you about the last time you ever read a local newspaper bec.if you did,you would surely know that the building about to collapse, and the bone marrow transplant unit constructed with full knowledge of the building's risky situation at a cost of 18 million L.E,all this had been funded from donations'money ...!!!!

There is a great difference between "just put down any thing good while they arent doing much." and being realistic. You kindly said "u dnt knw the intentions of others and of course u have some sense to know that even though we can form opinions about those we watch on our screens we certainly do not know them for real." and I fully agree, but if I do not know people's intentions I surely know how things are going in my homeland these days..!!!!Thinking positively never means being over-optimistic as you are.

Anyway,it will certainly make me happy if it comes to the happy ending you are expecting.

  8. Sure there was corruption in the building of the NCI that doesnt mean that all there were involved in it and that doesnt mean that the money went to waste. In case u havent been following properly on the story as it turns out the building can be fixed w/o full evacuation that was the opinion of Dr. Hamza and the same opinion was repeated by the experts in their report to the University. By your logic, no one should donate bec there is a chance that things will be stolen well, Id rather donate and have most of it stolen and a portion gets to the needy than not donating at all. Also, since you lack such confidence in others and see all as potential crocks then there is always the do it urself approach and some ppl do make sure that they give away their donations by themselves.
My point is: if someone you dislike seems to be doing a good thing then why cursing him and accusing him of things u dnt even know to be true. Also, all your answers reflect a personality that doesnt trust others and I suspect you see your self as above the level of morality of others and that is just sad.
Im hopeful always but I dnt see how any thing I wrote is over-optimistic. I do believe that bec ppl care more for where there donations go and bec they are behind this campaign and not adeeb they will press for results and will be vocal when things go bad. An example is the lady calling to Adeebs show yesterday. She did mention corruption but she reported it live and she and the ladies w her stood firm and insisted on giving the donations by themselves and to those they saw as needing them.
Yes many bad and wrong things happen in our country (not a unique thing bec corruption is every where even in developed countries but the society there is more aware & more vocal) but I also know that there are good ppl and not every body is a crock I also know that if we are fed up with corruption of all sorts then we'd better make sure the donations are put or given to where they were intended may be that would require more effort but it is doable and that is better than not giving any thing at all.
I didnt mean to personally attack u btw but ur very negative and baseless comment was too much
