That Is Not Funny President Mubarak , It Is Sad So Sad !!

President Mubarak went to Sohag yesterday to inaugurate bunch of projects just before weeks of the elections where he showed how he is separated from his own people to the level that he makes jokes from their greatest disasters. Already during the visit he was invited by a simple citizen to drink one strong Upper Egyptian tea in his flat, that small visit was actually a Q&A between the President and the simple citizen who told him everything about new desert Sohag village project. Needless to say it was purely staged from A to Z.

During that fake invitation at the man’s house , Mubarak was asking about the means of transportation in the area and the man was telling him about the ferries in Girga and the president fires back saying  :

Is it a ferry from those that drown or not !!??

and he laughs  , so all those who were there as it is their duty to laugh whenever he does and cries whenever he does !!

You can watch in video at 4:9 min after the break.

Mubarak in Sohag

I do not think that he should be sarcastic when it comes to ferries especially he was there in Upper Egypt in specific when the families  of the Salam ferry 98 are waiting for real justice. There is nothing funny in this because actually ferries drown in the red sea and in the Nile due to the corruption of the governments he has chosen up till now.

By the way Mamdouh Ismail , the man who is responsible for this tragedy is currently London escaping a very light sentence. I wish that someone who would sue him. For the record Mamdouh Ismail was said to be a friend of Zakaria Azmi.

  1. I'm not surprised that Mr. President said that silly ruthless thing. Political physiology states that, with time, chronic rulers develop thick skin that makes them insenitive and indifferent to their people's sorrows and feelings. Mr Mubarak is not an exception to this rule. Moreover, he seems to enjoy it!
