  3. you are not alone :)
Many others think exactly that Saddam Hussein doesn't deserve any support or pity but unfortunately they are not alot.
The main problem in the arab world that many people are looking for a hero. They considered Abdel-Nasser once as a hero despite the fact that he was just a dictator and his rule was the main cause of our defeat in June 1967 that leaded to the death of more than 100 thousand egyptian soldiers in that war.
Now Saddam Hussein which is not more than a bloody tyrant is considered also a hero and martyr.
Those who support him think in the same way the other people that support Nasser thought.
And you will found that those who supported Saddam are the same people themselves that supported Nasser.Thry both have the same mentality ..they want a hero to worship even if that hero was the cause of the death of hundreds of thousands of his people for no reason.

By the way your blog rocks.

  4. It is the search for a hero ,it is from weakness that now we think anyone stands in front of the death and is not scared is a hero ,come on I once read the Raya ,the famous serial killer in Alexandria put the noose around her nick in her execution in 1921 well this makes her a hero
    it is the weakness
but you right the same people who cheer for Saddam and the same people who cheer for Nasser ,the same sick mentality I am sorry to say
and thanks for your comment ,it rocks by people who comment like you
